Thanksgiving is approaching quickly and we are all starting to feel the effects of the holiday season. Whether you are mostly excited and a little stressed, or mostly stressed and not really excited, it’s totally OK. Momma, let me tell you, you are unique and how you feel about the holidays is important. Work with how you feel and delight in who you are.
As moms we naturally have way too much to do in life, but we can still enjoy the holidays. One of the things I teach in my Mom Coaching is to find quick and easy versions of festive recipes to enjoy the holiday vibe with less stress. To further support that idea, I’ve put together a list of my favorite quick and/or easy Thanksgiving recipe posts from some amazing bloggers.

This recipe sounds and tastes super fancy, but it doesn’t come with the fancy anxiety. A lot of this recipe can be prepped ahead of time, making the cooking process a lot smoother. Plus, the author grew up in the South…we trust those people with our food.

Cooking squash in the fall just feels like the right thing to do. The colors and smells and flavors of squash blend perfectly with the whole Fall and Thanksgiving vibe happening this time of year. Acorn squash is one of my favorites to cook with, and this stay at home mom of 2 created a delicious recipe that can be made in the oven or air fryer.
Popcorn is a current family favorite at the Larson household, and it makes for a great non-sugary snack. Popcorn can also make a great Thanksgiving appetizer that doubles as a recipe kids can help with. It’s what my husband and I like to call “simple fancy”. The recipe’s creator is a wife, mother, and curious cook, and she truly understands the realities and fun of being a mom.
This fun author created a recipe that is easy, tastes delicious, and makes your house smell like the holidays. Add a cinnamon stick for some extra fancy and sip this delicious drink all through this colder weather season. With all the diseases going around right now, this drink will calm symptoms and fight germs.

Serving Pumpkin Pie is a guaranteed way to put everyone in the holiday mood. Add a dollop of whipped cream and grab a fork, the first bite’s spiced smoothness sends your soul straight into the holiday season. This recipe is my favorite, with extra spice and brown sugar. Make a few of these this season and enjoy your warm holiday season!
