Smart Matrix LED Headlights make nighttime driving safer. ES8 is able to accurately bend light around an oncoming vehicle to avoid blinding oncoming traffic, whilst keeping the rest of the environment lit up. 20-Way power adjustment with rare-in-class shoulder bolster and power headrest ensures complete comfort on every drive.

22-Way power adjustable. Comfort Mode, activated with just one touch, reclines the backrest, and adjusts the headrest, seat cushion, leg rest and footrest to give a zero-gravity reclining experience.

The first and second row seats feature an independently heated seat cushion, backrest and leg support and a ventilated seat cushion and backrest to allow for excellent comfort whether its hot or cold.
The Air Cushion System provides an extra level of support for the back during long journeys and is supplemented by the rare-in-class Hot Stone Massage feature, available on the first two rows, which features five massage modes and two intensity levels.

ES8 is equipped with a 180kW permanent magnet front motor and a 300kW induction rear motor based on NIO's next-generation high-efficiency electric drive system, achieving a perfect balance between a long range and high performance. In addition, an SiC power module further optimizes the vehicle's energy consumption.

A high strength aluminum body structure is at the core of ES8. At the rear, 31 parts are integrated into 1, helping to deliver outstanding tortional stiffness.
