In this novella there are three factions of supernaturals: witches, wolves and vampires. Both witches and wolves hate the vamps but don't necessarily get along themselves either. One night Christian saves Ariel's life and thus begins their forbidden romance. They must navigate their own hesitations along with the prejudices of their clans, while also striving to find safety and happiness together. There was an appropriate amount of angst and groveling, and Ariel was a smart heroine, which I enjoyed. Another nice little shifter novella.

The Wolf's Secret by Zara Woods is an amazing story that I have read and loved it. This is amazing story writen by a brand new author for me to read and I will definately be readin mre from this amazing author. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters, witches, vampires, magic and paranormal romances.

Loved this story. A forbidden love story that is filled with danger and romance. The two main characters are so different from each other. She’s a witch who likes the simple magic but otherwise wants to live her life as a human. She has an insane love at repairing antique paintings for a museum. He is a wolf guard and wants to protect his pack from vampires and dark witches. The story will pull them together and pull them apart. They will have to make life and death decisions that love can’t help with.

There’s something for everyone in this fun and easy read. Ms. Woods presents her strong characters into a world full of love, intrigue, and complicated supernatural relationships. Ariel is a witch just wanting a normal life and she’s succeeded so far until an attack shatters her amulet that hides her witchy power. Christian a wolf shifter comes to save the day but that’s when both his and Ariel’s life spiral out of control. Witches and wolf shifters are supposed to be natural enemies but fate likes to play cruel jokes on people. Neither the witches nor the wolf shifters are going to sit quietly while love blossoms for the two lovers. Both communities are going to try and crush the love between Ariel and Christian if it’s the last thing they do.

What obstacles are these two lovers going to have to face before they’re allowed their HEA? Will this affect the two paranormal communities? Get your own copy of this great book as I know that you’re going to enjoy reading about Ariel and Christians journey to a forever love.

Art restorer Ariel was a witch but tried to live as a human then one evening while working late she is attacked by a group of vampires. Wolf shifter guard Christian is passing the old museum when he scents vampires and follows their trail and finds them attacking a young woman who he realizes is a witch but nut using her powers to fight the vampires. he attacks the vampires but the woman passes out from their venom. Ariel wakes up in a strange place and realizes that her savior has drawn out the venom. She shares a meal and the witch and the wolf get close something forbidden by both the Wolf Council and the Witch Council.

How can you not love a witch in hiding who just wants to be normal and a wolf shifter hero that wants what he can not have. For Christian it is Loyalty verses love. And for Ariel wanting somethig so bad but ready to let it go for peace. They do have a common enemy in the vampires, maybe that can be enough to let them come together? They have a fight on their hands, not only to kill vampires the but witch court and the wolf shifter counsil, hoping to bring the wolves and the witches together. Knowing they are breaking their laws, can love make what is right in their hearts, right in the world. I loved this book, and the ending was perfecty.

Ariel and Christian meet when Christian rescues Ariel from an attack. Their love seems to be preordained, even though their ruling councils, as a result of an ancient feud, have prohibited and relationship between their subject. Can the lovers survive long enough to cause a resolution of the prohibition or will they suffer heartache and loss?
This short read is a good short read. I would have preferred that is was longer to let the main characters tell more of their personal events. But I really enjoyed the read.

PNR with a sort of star-crossed lovers theme. Big pet peeve of mine is the insta- forgiveness a lot of writers do. Maybe I'm just the untrusting type. I get allllll the reasons why they each acted the way they did when the big news was shared. But still, just as in real life, just saying the word 'sorry'; doesn't make it all better. I'm still hurt and I don't trust you not to instantly!
(I have strong feelings about this if you can't tell.)
So the positives. Book was a decent length, with no memorable errors. There was a reasonably good story line, with likable main characters.

What a jaw dropping story. As I turned each page there were so many twist, turns, and on my moments that it was hard to put the book down.

All Ariel wanted was to be normal, Christian just wanted to lead his own team for the Royal Guards. Until the day their path crossed when Ariel was attacked by vampires and Christian saved her.

Them having to make a decision between the heart and what is acceptable between their clans will break you heart.

I really enjoyed this read. I think it could be a great start to a series. The relationship was a slower build than the mate bond we are used to with shifter reads. That was okay. It worked here. Loved the build up of the world, history of the relationship between wolves and witches, along with the bit of history. The book flowed well and the characters were relatable. A little action, along with a bit of romance is what draws you in to the story. I hope there is more to come.

Loved it!! All the political drama about two different peoples finding love and support. The problems they face and the dangers being addressed by the council and waiting for the verdict was awesome. The characters are well written and engaging. A must read!

This was a good read. Witches and wolves are enemies, but the chemistry between these two enemies was scorching. I love a good enemies to lovers read, and this one didn't disappoint.

A witch and a wolf shifter, impossible and against all the rules. Sometimes fate has other plans!! Arial and Christian fall in love and overcome the odds, all while fighting the vampires and both their clans. A true love story!!

I found this book to be highly entertaining. Was my first time reading this authors work. I thought the plot was developed as was the characters. I look forward to reading more books and series.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading The Wolfs Secret, was hooked in the first chapter. Fell in love with the characters and hope to see more of them in future books.

I found this to be an excellent book. It has great hot sex scenes. Great arguments and love. Totally enjoyable.
